The Kingdom Restored Update 3

Just a quick post to let you all know what's new. Since my last post, I've been busy fleshing things out. There's a lot to do obviously and I don't have a lot of time due to work. However I make the best use I can. I've written out more details on each of my levels to I have a clearer direction. I've also gotten more detailed on my characters. In the process I've created and updated my project on my Trello board. My goal is to get as much planned and written down I can so once I start working on my prototype I won't get side-tracked. I've read enough on other blogs about scope creep and I want to avoid that if I can. It may be asking a lot of myself, but as this is my first real game project, I want to do the best job I can.
I've also been doing some skill development regarding graphics and audio. My main frustration is finding sprites I can use. Most of the ones I've found under CCL licensing just have the basic moves-idle, walk, run, etc. As I have additional moves planned for my character, I may have to make my own. So getting comfortable with the graphics programs I have will be needed. Not sure how it will turn out, but I am learning a lot (and I'm having some fun).
On the audio side of things, I've been busy getting more comfortable with my DAW and related software. I had to spend a day re-organizing my audio files. I had been saving them in a generic folder by music or SFX. However, when I looked real good at those folders, they were a mess. My SFX files weren't too bad, but my music was. So I now have a better structure so I can find a particular type of music easier. Still a ways to go though, but as with everything I've been learning, it takes time. As the saying goes, "you eat an elephant one bite at a time", I applying that to my graphics and audio files.
My motivation for this is long-term. When I finish working overseas and back home making my games, I need to be efficient. So I'm spending the time now to avoid a crisis or confusion later. Thus, my current game project is chugging along at a slower pace than maybe many of you.
Thanks for reading, and as always, I appreciate any comments or suggestions you have.
